Diamondback Firearms DB15PC is a semi-auto 7.62x39mm pistol with a 10″ barrel and a 28+1-round capacity. It is an AR-style build, so the layout and controls will feel familiar if you have run an AR-15 before. Overall length is 23″.
What sets it apart
The barrel is 4150 chrome moly and threaded, with an A2 flash hider at the muzzle. The pistol gas system runs a direct impingement action. The frame is forged 7075 T6 aluminum with a black anodized hard coat finish. Up front you get a 9″ M-LOK rail, and on top there is an integral Picatinny optic mount at 0 MOA.
This pistol has no sights, so plan on adding an optic before you head to the range. The trigger is standard, the grip is a MOE grip, and the rear has a buffer tube with a foam pad. A manual safety is fitted. One metal AR-style magazine is included.
It suits shooters who like the AR platform but want the 7.62x39mm cartridge in a compact, short-barreled package. It makes sense for range days, plinking and anyone building out a pistol-format AR.
For gear, start with a red dot or a low-power scope for the Picatinny mount. The M-LOK rail takes a weapon light, a bipod or a sling attachment. Extra metal AR-style magazines are worth having, and so are eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit. If you want a muzzle device other than the A2 flash hider, confirm the thread size first.
