Charter Arms Double Dog .357 Mag Revolver, 4.2″ Barrel, 5-Round, 73942

Product Description

Charter Arms Double Dog is a .357 Mag double-action revolver with a 4.2″ barrel and a 5-round cylinder. It sits on a sub-compact steel frame with a stainless steel finish and classic walnut grips.

What stands out

The Double Dog comes with adjustable sights, which is not something you find on every small-frame revolver. You can tune the point of impact to your load instead of living with whatever the factory set. At 26 oz and 8.75″ overall, it is easy to carry and handle, and the steel frame gives it a solid feel in the hand. The walnut grips add a traditional look to the stainless finish.

This revolver suits a shooter who wants a five-shot magnum for the range, the truck, the nightstand, or a day in the woods. Double-action operation means you can pull the trigger for each shot without cocking the hammer first. The 4.2″ barrel gives you more sight radius than a snub-nose.

For gear, start with a holster cut for a revolver with a 4.2″ barrel. Add speedloaders or speed strips sized for five rounds, plus eye and ear protection for the range. A lockbox or safe keeps it secured at home. A basic cleaning kit and a soft cloth will help you look after the stainless finish and the wood grips.
