The European American Armory Bounty Hunter is a single-action revolver chambered in .44 Rem Mag. It has a 4.5″ barrel, a 6-round cylinder, and a full-size steel frame. Overall length is 10.5″, and it weighs 38.4 oz.
This is a traditional design. You cock the external hammer by hand before each shot, so the pace is deliberate. The sights are fixed, which means there is nothing to adjust or knock out of position. The nickel Cerakote finish and walnut grips give it the look of an old western revolver.
Who it suits
The Bounty Hunter fits shooters who enjoy single-action revolvers and want a big-bore cartridge. It makes sense for range days, cowboy-style shooting, and handgun hunters who want a steel-frame .44 in a manageable 4.5″ barrel length. The steel frame adds weight, and that weight is something you will feel when you hold it.
For gear, think about a leather holster made for a single-action revolver with a 4.5″ barrel. A belt with cartridge loops is handy for carrying spare ammunition. Because this is a .44 Rem Mag, hearing and eye protection are a must at the range. A shooting bag or a hard case keeps it protected between trips.
