The Rost Martin RM1S Comp is a 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.6″ hammer-forged barrel and an integral comp. It holds 12+1 rounds, and two magazines come with it. The frame and grips are polymer, and the slide is nitrocarburized steel with a black polymer finish.
The slide is cut for an RMR footprint optic, so you can mount a red dot without sending the slide out for milling. The factory sights are a white dot front and a black serrated rear, which gives you a usable setup before you add an optic. The grip has added texture for a firmer hold, and the flat-faced trigger breaks from a double-action system.
Features and fit
An ambidextrous magazine release makes the pistol easy to run for right-handed and left-handed shooters. An accessory rail takes a light or laser. The integral comp is part of the barrel, so there is no separate muzzle device to fit. The pistol is made in the USA.
This model suits someone who wants a modern striker-style layout with a double-action trigger, plus the option to run a red dot. It works for concealed carry, home defense and range practice.
Good gear to pair with it includes an RMR-pattern red dot, a holster cut for an optic-equipped pistol with a rail, a weapon light, and extra 9mm magazines for training. Choose a holster made for the RM1S Comp so the comp and any optic clear the opening.
