Charter Arms Pathfinder .22 WMR Revolver, 2″ Barrel, 8-Round, 52340

Product Description

The Charter Arms Pathfinder is a small-frame double action revolver chambered in .22 WMR, with a 2-inch barrel and an 8-round cylinder. The frame is aluminum, and the whole gun weighs 12 oz. Overall length is 6.75 inches.

The first thing you notice is the purple anodized finish. It sets this revolver apart from the usual black and stainless guns on the rack. The grips are rubber with finger grooves, which gives your hand something to hold on to. The hammer is spurred, and the cylinder uses a 3-point lock-up.

Who it suits

The short barrel and light frame make the Pathfinder easy to carry in a pack, a tackle box or a glovebox. The sights are fixed, so there is nothing to adjust and nothing to knock out of place. That keeps it simple for a shooter who wants a rimfire revolver without extra parts. It also suits anyone who likes the .22 WMR round and wants a handy revolver to shoot it in.

Plan on a few extras. A holster cut for a small-frame revolver is a good start. Add .22 WMR ammunition, eye and ear protection, a cleaning kit and a lockable case for storage and transport. Pick the ammo up in more than one brand and see which one your revolver likes best.
