The Rost Martin RM1S is a 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.6″ hammer-forged barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. It has a polymer frame, a black polymer finish, and a nitrocarburized steel slide. Two magazines are included.
Several features set it apart. The slide is cut for an RMR-footprint optic, so you can mount a compatible red dot without a custom slide job. It has an ambidextrous magazine release, which helps left-handed shooters. The trigger has a flat face, and the action is double action. The grips are black polymer with added grit for a firmer hold. The sights are white dot up front and black serrated at the rear, and an accessory rail sits under the frame. It is made in the USA.
Who it suits
This pistol fits shooters who want a practical 9mm for concealed carry, home defense, or range practice and want the option of an optic. The 10+1 capacity also suits states and ranges that cap magazine size.
Good gear to pair with it includes a holster fitted to this model, extra 10-round magazines, a red dot sight that matches the RMR footprint, and a weapon light for the accessory rail. Add 9mm Luger practice ammunition and a cleaning kit, and you have a complete setup.
