Charter Arms Santa Fe .38 Spl Revolver, 2″ Barrel, 5-Round

Product Description

The Charter Arms Santa Fe is a .38 Spl double-action revolver with a 2″ barrel and a 5-round cylinder. It is built on a small aluminum frame and weighs 12 oz, with an overall length of 6.75″. That makes it easy to carry and easy to handle.

The look is what sets it apart. The frame wears a Turquoise Cerakote finish, and the grips are black rubber with finger grooves. The hammer is spurred, and the cylinder locks up at three points. The sights are fixed, so there is nothing to adjust or knock out of place.

Who it suits

This revolver fits a few kinds of buyers. Some want a compact .38 Spl for daily carry. Others want a simple double-action gun for the range, or an easy first revolver. A double-action revolver has no slide to rack and no safety to manage, so it is straightforward to learn.

For gear, start with a holster sized for a small-frame revolver with a 2″ barrel. Add .38 Spl ammunition, a cleaning kit, and eye and ear protection for the range. A range bag or a small lockable case keeps everything together. Pick the holster first, since the short barrel and small frame decide what will fit.
