The Diamondback Firearms DB9 G4 is a compact 9mm Luger pistol with a 3″ barrel and a 6+1-round capacity. It is striker-fired and built on a polymer frame. The slide has a black finish, and the barrel is 410 stainless steel.
This pistol is small. It weighs 11 oz and measures 5.6″ overall, so it is easy to carry and easy to hide. The magazine is a single stack design, which keeps the grip thin. The magazine has an orange follower, and the magazine catch is steel. The grips are textured to help you hold on, and the trigger has a short reset for quick follow-up shots.
Who it suits
The DB9 G4 suits people who carry a concealed pistol every day and want something light. It has a manual safety, which some carriers want on a small striker-fired gun. The sights are fixed, with a dot at the front and two dots at the rear, so there is nothing to adjust. One magazine is included.
Plan your gear around the size. A holster molded for this pistol is the first item to add. Spare single stack 9mm magazines are useful for range days. Quality 9mm Luger ammunition, a cleaning kit and a range bag round out the kit. Check that any holster is listed as a fit for the DB9 G4 before you buy it.
