Templar Small Captain Drop Point Automatic Double Action OTF

Product Description

Templar Small Captain Drop Point is an automatic double action OTF knife with a 2.69″ blade. It is part of the Gen. 2 series and carries a captain design on the handle. The overall length is 6.02″, and it closes down to 4.31″.

The blade is 440C steel with a black finish, a plain edge and a drop point shape. It is 0.11″ thick and rated at 61 HRC. A drop point gives you a strong tip and a good belly for general cutting. The plain edge is simple to maintain and works well for slicing cord, tape, boxes and similar daily jobs.

What sets it apart

Two features are listed on this model: a glass break and an easy reset. The handle is a premium metal alloy, and the whole knife weighs 4.5 oz. The opener is automatic, and double action means the blade deploys and retracts out the front of the handle.

This knife suits someone who wants a compact OTF for everyday carry, a glovebox or a go-bag. It also fits collectors building out a Templar lineup. Pair it with a small pouch or belt carry case, a pocket sharpening stone and a bit of knife-safe lubricant. Check your local and state laws on automatic knives before you order.
