Barnes VOR-TX .260 Rem 120 gr Ttsx Bt Ammo, 20 Rounds

Product Description

Barnes VOR-TX .260 Rem 120 gr TTSX BT ammo is a boxed rifle load with a muzzle velocity of 2950 fps. Each box holds 20 rounds. The bullet is a 120 gr TTSX boat tail, and the load is made for rifles chambered in .260 Remington.

The main thing that sets this load apart is that it is lead-free. If you hunt where lead bullets are restricted, or you simply prefer to leave lead out of the field, this is the kind of ammo to look at. The 120 gr weight and the 2950 fps rating give you a clear starting point when you work out your rifle’s zero and your drop numbers.

Who it suits

This ammo fits hunters with a .260 Rem bolt-action or single-shot rifle. It also suits anyone who wants to try a lead-free hunting round in that caliber. Check that your rifle is chambered for .260 Remington before you order, since the cartridge is not interchangeable with other calibers.

Good gear to pair with it includes a quality scope with a matching ballistic reticle or turrets, a bipod for steady shots, and a sling for the walk in. A rifle case, a cleaning kit, and ear protection for range sessions round out the setup. Fire a few rounds at the range first so you know where this load prints from your rifle.
