Cobratec Knives Jackal Automatic, D2, CTJKLODG

Product Description

The Cobratec Knives Jackal is a side button automatic folding knife with a 3.38″ D2 blade. Press the button and the blade opens. The lock is a button lock, so the same control family keeps the knife simple to run with one hand.

The blade is a plain-edge drop point with a Black Stonewash finish. It is 0.118″ thick and rated at 61 HRC. A drop point gives you a strong tip and a good belly for slicing, which makes it a practical shape for cutting rope, cardboard, straps and food. The handle is OD green G-10. The knife weighs 4 oz, measures 8″ open and 4.5″ closed.

Safety and carry details

The Jackal has a manual safety, so you can lock the button out while the knife rides in a pocket or pack. A lanyard loop at the handle lets you add a cord or fob. The knife is made in China.

This knife fits a few kinds of users. Campers, hunters and trades workers can use it as a quick-opening utility blade. Collectors who like OD green and stonewash finishes will find a clean look. Good companions include a belt pouch, a paracord lanyard, a small sharpening stone, work gloves and a compact flashlight. Automatic knives are regulated differently from state to state, so check your local laws before you order.
