TriStar Bristol 28 Gauge Break-Action Shotgun, 28″ Barrel, 38028

Product Description

The TriStar Bristol is a 28 gauge break-action shotgun with a 28″ chrome-lined barrel. It is a side-by-side double that holds 2 rounds, one in each barrel, and it chambers 2.75″ shells. Overall length is 45.5″.

The look is classic. The stock is walnut with an English-style straight grip, and the receiver wears a color case hardened finish. A brass bead is the only sight, so you point the gun the way you would on a traditional field double.

Features that set it apart

The Bristol has ejectors, so fired shells kick out of the chambers when you open the action. It also uses a single selective trigger. You pick which barrel fires first, and you do not have to switch between two triggers. Choke options are SK, IC, Mod, IM and F, which covers everything from close-range birds to longer shots.

This gun suits upland hunters, grouse and quail shooters, and anyone who likes a 28 gauge on a sporting clays or skeet field. It also works for shooters who simply prefer a straight-stock double over a pump or semi-auto.

Good gear to pair with it includes 2.75″ 28 gauge shells, a shell pouch or vest, a soft or hard case, and a cleaning kit. Eye and ear protection are a must for every trip to the field or range.
