Product Description
The Hsm Bear .45 Colt 325 gr Wide Flat Nose Gas Check ammo is a 20-round box of .45 Colt cartridges with a muzzle velocity of 1155 fps. It is part of the Bear line from Hsm.
The bullet is what sets this load apart. It weighs 325 gr, and it has a wide flat nose with a gas check. The flat nose gives the bullet a broad front face instead of a pointed or rounded tip. The listed velocity of 1155 fps is paired with that heavy bullet weight.
Who it suits
This load is for shooters with firearms chambered in .45 Colt who prefer a heavier bullet. That includes owners of .45 Colt revolvers and anyone shooting a rifle in the same chambering. Check your owner’s manual or contact the gun maker if you are unsure whether your firearm is rated for a given load. Heavy-bullet ammo is a good fit for range sessions where you want to learn how a particular load shoots from your gun.
For gear, think about what makes a day with a revolver easier. A sturdy holster or a cartridge belt with loops keeps rounds organized. Ear and eye protection are a must. A cleaning kit sized for the caliber and a set of paper or steel targets round out the setup. A box of 20 is easy to carry in a range bag or a pocket ammo carrier.
