The IWI US, Inc Galil Ace Gen 2 is a semi-automatic pistol in 5.56 NATO with an 8.3-inch barrel. It comes in black and ships with one 30-round magazine. The manufacturer part number is GAP26.
The Galil Ace Gen 2 belongs to a family that traces back to the original Galil rifle developed by IMI. That design drew on the AK and on the Finnish Valmet, and IWI has kept refining it. The Gen 2 series covers rifles, carbines, SBRs and pistols in several calibers and barrel lengths. This one is the pistol version in 5.56 NATO.
What sets it apart
The handguard is a free float M-LOK design. That gives you a place to mount M-LOK accessories without touching the barrel. The 8.3-inch barrel keeps the pistol compact for a 5.56 NATO firearm, and the 30-round magazine gives you a full-size load.
This pistol suits shooters who like the AK layout but want a modern, updated version in a common rifle caliber. It also fits anyone building a 5.56 NATO pistol setup around M-LOK. Good companions include extra 30-round magazines, M-LOK lights, grips and bipods, an optic, and a sling. Check that any mount or accessory is made for this model before you buy it.
