DPMS Quad-Rail is a semi-automatic AR rifle chambered in .223 Remington/5.56 NATO, built around a 16″ threaded barrel. It has a 30-round capacity and a black anodized finish. It is a right-handed rifle.
The barrel is chrome-moly vanadium steel with an A2 profile, an M4 barrel extension and a 1:7″ twist. A carbine-length gas system and a low-profile gas block sit under the 13.5″ quad-rail handguard, which gives you a long run of rail for mounting gear. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 and comes fitted with an A2 flash hider.
Retro touches and forged lowers
The lowers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, marked MULTI for the caliber, and finished in hard-coat anodize. DPMS fits a Retro A2 grip, a Retro aluminum trigger guard and a Retro fire control group. The mil-spec diameter 7075-T6 buffer tube carries an M4-style collapsible stock with 6 adjustment positions, so length of pull is easy to set for different shooters.
This rifle suits someone who wants a standard 16″ AR for range days, training or a home-built accessory setup. It pairs well with an optic, a weapon light, a sling and extra 30-round magazines. The 1/2×28 thread also lets you swap the flash hider for another muzzle device that uses the same thread.
