The plate is the part that decides whether your red dot actually holds zero. Western Sport stocks close to 300 optic plates and footprint adapters at our Roanoke, TX shop — C&H Precision, Calculated Kinetics, Reptilia, Trijicon, Night Fision, Midwest Industries and Shield Sights.

What we carry

Slide plates for optic-ready pistols from Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield and Walther; footprint converters (RMR to RMSc, ACRO to Docter and so on); rifle riser and adapter plates including 1.93" and 1.54" heights; dovetail-mount plates for pistols with no factory cut; and the correct screws, shims and thread locker to go with them.

Match the cut, not the brand

Slides are cut to a footprint, not to a manufacturer — an “optics-ready” pistol tells you nothing until you know whether the cut is RMR, RMSc, ACRO or a proprietary pattern. Get that right and the dot sits flush on steel; get it wrong and you are stacking plates, which is exactly how dots shake loose. Direct-mount is always stronger than a plate when it is available.
