Western Sport stocks 450+ riflescopes at our Roanoke, TX shop in the north Dallas–Fort Worth corridor — Leupold, Vortex, Trijicon, Sig Sauer, Burris, Steiner, EOTech and Riton, from lightweight hunting glass to first-focal-plane precision scopes.

What we carry

Low-power variable optics (LPVOs) in 1-6x, 1-8x and 1-10x for AR-15s, classic 3-9x and 4-12x hunting scopes, 5-25x and 6-24x long-range scopes with exposed turrets and zero stops, fixed-power scopes, and rimfire-specific optics with close parallax. Pair anything here with rings and mounts sized to the tube.

First focal plane or second?

In a first focal plane scope the reticle grows and shrinks with magnification, so your holdover marks are accurate at every power — that is what you want if you range and hold with the reticle. In a second focal plane scope the reticle stays the same size and the subtensions are only true at one magnification, usually the top end. SFP reticles stay easier to see at low power, which is why most hunting scopes are still SFP.

Bring the rifle in and we will mount, level and torque the scope on the spot.
