What we carry
Dedicated thermal riflescopes in 384 and 640 sensor resolutions, models with onboard video recording and ballistic calculators, units with multiple colour palettes for different conditions, and quick-detach mounts sized for AR-pattern rifles. If you would rather keep your day scope, look at clip-on units under thermal imaging.
Picking one for hog hunting
Most Texas hog shooting happens inside 200 yards, and a 384 sensor with good NETD will identify a hog cleanly at that distance for considerably less money than a 640. Spend the difference on NETD and base magnification rather than on maximum digital zoom. Check the recoil rating too — a scope certified for .223 will not survive a magnum hunting rifle.
Come look through a few in the shop. Thermal is one of those purchases where the spec sheet and your own eye rarely agree.
