The AAC Ranger 5 Direct Thread is AAC’s current-generation 5.56 suppressor in the simplest mounting configuration — direct thread 1/2×28, the standard AR-15 barrel thread pitch. No muzzle device needed, no ratchet to engage. Thread it onto your barrel, torque to spec, and shoot. The Ranger 5 DT is ideal for a dedicated 5.56 host where mounting simplicity and alignment reliability are the priority.
