Product Description

Update, October 9, 2026: ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints or registration for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns or AOWs. They now transfer on a standard Form 4473 with a background check. Anything below that mentions a Form 4, a wait or a tax stamp was written before this change. What changed

⚠ SUPPRESSOR — NO FORM 4 REQUIRED
Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration for suppressors. It transfers like any other firearm: a Form 4473 and a NICS background check. Buyer must be 21 or older and allowed to own a suppressor under their state’s law. Outside Texas, we ship to an SOT dealer in your state. What changed · How buying one works now

The Alleycat 5.56 Inconel 718 QD is Alleycat’s Inconel 718 AR-15 suppressor — the choice for high-volume 5.56 shooters. Quick-Detach mount. Inconel 718 construction handles full-auto and sustained semi-auto fire at cyclic rates that erode standard 5.56 suppressors. Covers 5.56 NATO, .223 Rem, and smaller calibers. If you own a registered machine gun, shoot competitive shooting with high round counts, or run extended training courses, the Inconel 718 Alleycat is built for that use. Black finish.

FAQ — Inconel 718 Suppressors

What is Inconel 718 and why does it matter for suppressors?

Inconel 718 is a specific nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy with exceptional high-temperature strength — it retains its mechanical properties at temperatures that cause stainless steel and titanium to soften. In suppressors, this translates to sustained-fire capability: where a standard suppressor begins to degrade after high-volume semi-auto or full-auto fire, an Inconel 718 suppressor maintains its geometry and performance. If you run a registered machine gun, shoot high-round-count training courses, or engage in competition shooting, Inconel 718 is the premium choice.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.

Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.

  • Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
  • Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
  • Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
