The Apollo Custom Glock 43X MOS Butterfly is a sub-compact, striker-fired 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.41″ carbon steel barrel. It holds 10+1 rounds in a single stack magazine, and it comes with 2 magazines.
What sets this pistol apart is the finish and the optic cut. The slide is done in Robin’s Egg & Crushed Orchid, which looks nothing like a standard black carry gun. The slide is MOS cut with a multi-footprint optic mount, so you can add a red dot. White dot / white outline sights stay on the slide for iron-sight use. A front rail is built into the frame.
Size and carry
The frame is polymer and the pistol weighs 16.4 oz. Overall length is 6.5″, and the barrel has a 1:9.84″ twist. That makes it a small, light pistol for concealed carry, a backup gun, or a range pistol that gets noticed.
Good companions include a red dot sized for the multi-footprint mount, a holster that fits a pistol with a front rail and an optic, and extra single stack 9mm magazines. Pick 9mm Luger ammo for practice and for carry, and run both through the pistol before you rely on it. A weapon light that suits the front rail rounds out the setup.
