Beretta M70 .32 ACP Pistol, BM70BACR

Product Description

The Beretta M70 .32 ACP Pistol, BM70BACR is a surplus handgun from Beretta, chambered in .32 ACP. It has a blued finish and a side thumb safety. It is sold as an A grade surplus piece and carries a C&R designation.

Surplus guns are different from new production pistols. This one has a past, and that is much of the appeal. Expect an older, used-issue style pistol rather than a factory-fresh gun. The .32 ACP chambering is a classic small-bore pistol cartridge, and it fits the vintage character of the M70 well.

Who the M70 suits

This pistol suits collectors who want a Beretta for a C&R lineup. It also fits shooters who like handling older European-style pistols and want to see how they work. The side thumb safety is easy to find and operate, which makes the controls simple to learn.

For gear, start with .32 ACP ammunition, since the caliber is the one firm requirement. A cleaning kit suits a surplus gun, and a good wipe-down and light lube before the first range trip is smart. Add eye and ear protection for the range, and a lockable case or safe for storage. If you collect, a display stand or padded case keeps the blued finish in good shape.
