Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed 6.8 Western Bolt-Action Rifle, 24″ Barrel, 036065299

Product Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, with a 24″ fluted, free-floating barrel and a 1:7.5″ twist. It is 44″ long overall and wears an OD Green Cerakote finish over a Vari-Tech OD Green stock.

The “Speed” name points to the handling. The bolt has a short-throw 60-degree lift, so you can cycle it without a big arm movement. The trigger is adjustable, and the safety sits on the tang. Ammunition feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds.

Threaded for a suppressor

The barrel is threaded and ships with a muzzle brake in 5/8×24. A thread protector is part of the package too. The rifle is listed as suppressor ready, so you can swap the brake for a suppressor that uses the same thread. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting. It has no sights, so you will need to add an optic.

This rifle suits hunters who want a bolt gun in 6.8 Western and plan to use a muzzle device. Pair it with a rifle scope, matching bases and rings, a sling, and a bipod or shooting rest. If you run a suppressor, check that its mount fits the 5/8×24 thread. A spare magazine is a handy extra for range days.
