Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Long Range is a bolt-action rifle in 7mm PRC with a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist and a target crown. A muzzle brake is fitted, and the barrel is threaded, so the rifle is suppressor ready. The finish is Smoked Bronze Cerakote, and overall length is 46.75″.
The Vari-Tech stock is what sets this rifle apart. It comes with 2 grip modules, and the length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust. That lets you fit the rifle to your frame and your shooting position instead of living with a fixed stock. The trigger is a multi-lever DLX adjustable unit, with a tang safety within easy reach of your thumb.
Who it suits
This rifle suits hunters taking long shots at big game and shooters who like to work at distance on the range. Feed comes from a detachable box magazine in the Plus Mag System, with room for 5+1 rounds in 7mm PRC.
There are no sights, but the receiver is drilled and tapped. Plan on a quality scope and a set of mounts. A bipod, a rear bag and a rangefinder round out a long-range setup. If you plan to run a suppressor, the threaded barrel is ready for one.
