The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag with a 26″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:7″ twist and a target crown. A Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish covers the rifle, and overall length is 46.75″.
What sets it apart
The muzzle carries a brake, and the barrel is threaded, so the rifle is suppressor ready. The Vari-Tech stock comes with 2 grip modules, and length of pull, comb height and grip angle all adjust. The DLX trigger is a multi-lever design that you can tune. A tang safety sits at the rear of the action.
Capacity is 5+1 rounds, fed from a detachable box magazine through the Plus Mag system. The rifle has no sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so plan on mounting a scope.
This rifle suits hunters who take long shots and shooters who want to fit a rifle to their own build and shoulder. A good scope with matching rings and bases is the first add-on. A bipod or shooting bag helps steady the rifle on a long shot. If you run a suppressor, confirm the thread pitch with the suppressor maker before you order a mount. Stock up on 7mm Rem Mag ammunition and spend time at the range with the trigger and stock adjusted to you.
