Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range 6.5 PRC Bolt-Action Rifle, 26″ Barrel

Product Description

The Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 26″ barrel. The barrel is button rifled and free floating, with a 1:8″ twist. The magazine holds 4+1 rounds and uses a hinged floorplate.

What sets it apart

The stock is carbon fiber composite, black with gray webbing, and the length of pull is 13.5″. The finish is Tungsten Cerakote. Overall length is 48″. The trigger is a TriggerTech unit with a 2.5-3.5 lb pull. The action has an enlarged ejection port, and the chamber is a match chamber.

The barrel is threaded at 5/8×24 pitch and comes with a seamless side baffle brake on the muzzle. The rifle is drilled and tapped for mounts. It has no sights, so plan on adding an optic and the base and rings to hold it. The safety is a 2 position design.

This rifle suits long-range shooters, hunters and anyone building a precision rig around 6.5 PRC. Good companions include a quality scope, a bipod, a rear bag, a rangefinder and a supply of 6.5 PRC ammunition for load testing. The 5/8×24 threading also leaves room to try other muzzle devices.
