About Christensen Arms

Founded in 1995 in Gunnison, Utah, Christensen Arms pioneered production carbon fiber-wrapped barrel technology and remains America’s leader in lightweight precision rifles. Every Christensen barrel features a match-grade stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber—a design that dramatically reduces weight while maintaining the rigidity and thermal stability required for sub-MOA accuracy. This engineering philosophy extends throughout each rifle: titanium hardware, premium composites, and exacting tolerances ensure Christensen rifles often weigh 5–7 lbs, setting the standard for lightweight performance in the industry.

The Evoke Platform

The Evoke represents Christensen’s entry into the centerfire bolt-action hunting rifle market—precision and affordability without sacrificing the carbon fiber barrel innovation that defines the brand. At under 6.3 lbs, the Evoke is exceptionally portable for all-day field use, whether glassing ridges for mule deer, stalking coyotes, or introducing a young shooter to centerfire hunting. The .243 Winchester is a time-proven flat-shooter with minimal recoil, making it a natural choice for youth hunters, smaller-framed shooters, and anyone who values follow-up accuracy over raw power.

The 20″ carbon fiber barrel balances velocity retention with compactness in thick brush or from a tree stand. The Rem 700 pattern action ensures compatibility with a wealth of aftermarket triggers, stocks, and tactical components should you wish to customize. AICS-compatible magazines offer flexibility, and the threaded muzzle accommodates a suppressor or muzzle brake. Built for hunters who demand a rifle that works hard but weighs light, the Evoke excels at ranges where the .243 shines—inside 300 yards—while keeping fatigue out of the equation on long hikes.
