Product Description

The Colt Delta Elite 10mm 1911 pistol is a full-size, semi-automatic handgun built on the proven 1911 platform. This model features a 5″ barrel and holds 8 rounds of 10mm ammunition. The two-tone finish and composite grips with Delta medallions deliver classic 1911 aesthetics with modern reliability.

Additionally, the Delta Elite comes equipped with Novak white dot sights for fast target acquisition. The upswept beavertail grip safety ensures secure handling and comfort during extended shooting sessions. These features make the Delta Elite ideal for sporting and recreational use where stopping power and accuracy matter.

Design and Construction

Furthermore, the full-size steel frame provides the weight and balance shooters expect from a serious 1911 platform pistol. The 10mm caliber delivers superior energy compared to standard 9mm offerings. However, the Delta Elite remains controllable thanks to its established 1911 ergonomics and proven design heritage.

The composite grips and upswept beavertail design work together to give you a secure, confident grip. The two-tone finish resists wear while maintaining the classic appearance that has defined the 1911 for over a century.

Performance and Reliability

The Delta Elite’s 5″ barrel balances velocity with handling. In addition, Colt’s manufacturing standards ensure consistent performance round after round. The 8-round magazine capacity provides adequate firepower for most sporting applications without excessive weight or bulk.

Indeed, the Novak white dot sights cut through glare and low-light conditions more effectively than standard sights. This makes target transitions faster and more reliable during range sessions and competitive shooting events.
