CZ 457 American Suppressor Ready .17 HMR Bolt-Action Rifle, 20″ Barrel

Product Description

The CZ 457 American Suppressor Ready is a bolt-action .17 HMR rifle with a 20″ barrel. It holds 5 rounds, has a 1:16″ twist rate and weighs 6.17 lbs. The finish is black nitride.

What sets it apart

The name tells you the main point. The muzzle is threaded 1/2″x28, so a suppressor or other muzzle device with that thread pitch can mount straight to the barrel. You do not need to have the barrel threaded later. The rifle also has an American style stock, a two-position safety and a right-handed action.

This rifle suits shooters who work with small game and varmints, and anyone who wants a quiet, easy-to-handle rimfire for the range. The 20″ barrel and 6.17 lb weight make it a manageable rifle to carry and shoot.

Gear that pairs well starts with a suppressor rated for .17 HMR that uses the 1/2″x28 thread. A scope and a sling are the other common additions for field or bench use. Check your local and state laws before you buy a suppressor.
