Product Description

The Daniel Defense M-LOK Bipod Adapter is a 1 oz, 6061-T6 aluminum adapter that attaches to the Daniel Defense MFR Rail or another M-LOK rail system and presents a sling swivel stud, allowing bipods with sling swivel stud mounts to be fitted to an AR-pattern rifle.

Bipods and AR handguards speak different languages. The bipod market is built around the swivel stud in a bolt-action forend; an M-LOK handguard offers slots. This adapter translates between the two with one small part, so the Harris-pattern bipod in your case fits without a rail section, a rail-clamp bipod head or a different bipod.

It is also worth noting what this adapter is not tied to. It is specified for the MFR Rail and other rail systems which use the M-LOK attachment method, rather than being locked to a single Daniel Defense handguard the way some of our M-LOK accessories are. If your handguard has genuine M-LOK slots on the bottom face, it is a candidate.

Placing a bipod on an AR handguard

Further forward is more stable, but only until the bipod interferes with your support hand, a barricade or a bag. Set the rifle up the way you shoot it prone, decide the slot, then fit the adapter. A bipod loads the handguard in a direction it does not usually see, so a rail that was never properly torqued will tell you about it here.
