The Diamondback Firearms DB380 Gen4 is a compact .380 ACP pistol with a 2.8″ barrel and a 6+1 round capacity. It is a striker-fired pistol built on a polymer frame, and this version has a pink slide finish.
Size is the main point of this pistol. It weighs 8.8 oz and measures 5.26″ overall, so it is easy to carry and easy to tuck away. The barrel is 410 stainless steel. The magazine is a single-stack design, which keeps the grip slim. The pistol comes with one magazine, and the magazine catch is steel.
Safety features and sights
The DB380 Gen4 has a manual safety and a mechanical firing pin block. Sights are fixed, with a dot at the front and a two-dot arrangement at the rear. Fixed sights have nothing to snag or knock out of alignment, which suits a pistol made for close-range use.
This pistol fits shooters who want a small .380 for pocket or belt carry, a nightstand gun, or a backup. It also works for newer shooters who prefer light recoil and a compact grip. Plan on a holster made for the DB380 Gen4, extra single-stack magazines, and a box of .380 ammunition for practice. A basic cleaning kit and a lockable case or safe round out the setup.
