The MP5K was built for one job: maximum firepower in the smallest possible package. The Heckler & Koch SP5K-PDW is its civilian, semi-automatic counterpart — the "K" stands for kurz, German for short — and it comes from the same Oberndorf, Germany factory, the same production lines and the same workforce that build HK’s MP5 variants. If you have wanted a genuine MP5K rather than a clone, this is it.

Both pistols share the same action, the same magazines and the same German build quality. The full-size HK SP5 runs an 8.86" barrel and 17.7" overall length for a longer sight radius and more velocity; the SP5K-PDW gives up about 3" of barrel to be nearly 4" shorter and 1.7 lb lighter. If you want the classic MP5K profile, or a compact host for a suppressor, the K is the one.

Accessories and the SBR Route

The SP5K-PDW accepts MP5K-pattern accessories, including handguards and end-plate adaptors, and Western Sport stocks MP5K parts from Midwest Industries, Magpul and UTG.
