The ELD-X design ensures consistent performance across varying distances and conditions.

Advanced Ballistic Technology

Furthermore, the ELD-X features Hornady’s Extremely Low Drag technology, which reduces wind drift and improves velocity retention. The streamlined bullet shape enhances accuracy at extended ranges. Terminal Performance and Expansion

The ELD-X utilizes a heat-resistant polymer tip for consistent expansion upon impact. This design initiates rapid energy transfer while maintaining the bullet’s structural integrity. Therefore, reloaders get both long-range accuracy and hunting-grade stopping power in a single component.

Perfect for .308 Winchester and Modern Calibers

The .308 diameter ensures compatibility with standard 30 caliber rifles and cartridges. This 178 grain weight works exceptionally well in modern .308 Winchester loads. Moreover, many competitive shooters and hunters rely on this bullet’s balanced ballistic properties for precision rifle competitions and field applications.

The 100-count box provides excellent value for dedicated handloaders who demand consistent results. Careful reloaders will appreciate the ELD-X’s tight manufacturing tolerances and reliable performance shot after shot.
