Why Choose a 5-Round Magazine

A five-round magazine is often the legal maximum for big game hunting in states with capacity restrictions. Reduced capacity also means less weight on long treks and fewer rounds to load when you’re focused on shot placement rather than volume.

Shooters who prioritize accuracy over rapid fire often prefer a smaller magazine. It keeps the rifle balanced and avoids the bulk of higher-capacity options.

What to Know Before You Order

Confirm that your rifle is chambered in 6.8 caliber and compatible with PRI magazines. Not all 6.8 platforms accept the same magazine patterns, so if you’re unsure about fit, send us a message and we’ll help you verify compatibility.

If you’re building a hunting rig or need to comply with local regulations, double-check your state’s magazine capacity rules before placing your order.
