The PWS BDE 556 TI is a titanium 5.56 NATO suppressor optimized for the AR-15 platform — and especially for Primary Weapons Systems’ own piston-driven MK1 series SBRs. 5.56 NATO is the highest-volume suppressed caliber in the civilian AR-15 market, and titanium construction provides the ideal weight-to-performance balance for a suppressor that will live on a rifle carried and used regularly. At $899.95, the BDE 556 TI offers titanium 5.56 suppression at a competitive price in the market for quality AR-15 suppressors.
The BDE 5.56 TI is particularly well-matched to the PWS MK111 MOD 2-M (also in Western Sport’s inventory): the MK111’s long-stroke piston naturally manages suppressor backpressure better than DI, and a titanium suppressor keeps the total muzzle-forward weight from becoming burdensome on what is already a compact SBR platform.

Does the BDE 556 TI work on DI AR-15s?
Yes — the BDE 556 TI is compatible with any AR-15 with the correct muzzle thread pitch. DI rifles run suppressed may need an adjustable gas block to prevent over-gassing. PWS piston-driven hosts (MK111 etc.) handle suppressor backpressure more naturally. Both work; the piston host delivers a cleaner, cooler shooting experience when suppressed.
Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.
Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.
Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
