Product Description

The Rossi R95 45-70 lever action rifle combines classic design with modern reliability. This compact firearm features a 16.5″ barrel and black oxide finish. It’s built for hunters and sport shooters who demand dependable performance in the field.

Additionally, the R95 comes equipped with quality iron sights. The buckhorn rear sight and drift-adjustable front sight allow for precise aiming. Furthermore, these sights are easy to adjust for various distances and hunting conditions.

Compact Design Built for the Backcountry

The Rossi R95 features a walnut stock that provides durability and classic aesthetics. The black oxide finish protects steel components from corrosion and wear. Moreover, the lever-action mechanism is smooth and reliable for quick follow-up shots.

The 16.5″ barrel makes this rifle compact and easy to handle in brush and timber. Furthermore, the shorter length doesn’t sacrifice the power of the 45-70 round. Therefore, it’s perfect for hunters navigating tight spaces and dense cover.

Stopping Power and Capacity

The R95 holds 5 rounds in its magazine, providing adequate capacity for hunting situations. The 45-70 Government cartridge is known for its stopping power and effective range. Additionally, this combination makes the rifle ideal for deer, elk, and larger game hunting.

The 45-70 is effective for hunting at ranges up to 200 yards with proper shot placement. The buckhorn and front sights support accurate shooting at these distances. For extended range shooting beyond 200 yards, scope mounting is recommended for better accuracy.
