Buyer must be 21 or older and allowed to own a suppressor under their state’s law. Outside Texas, we ship to an SOT dealer in your state. What changed · How buying one works now

SilencerCo Velos 556K LBP Suppressor — Black

The SilencerCo Velos 556K LBP is the compact K-configuration version of the Velos 5.56 LBP suppressor — same Low Back Pressure technology in a shorter, lighter package ideal for SBRs, carbines, and any 5.56 build where minimum system length is a priority. The K reduces overall length while maintaining LBP’s gas management advantages on semi-automatic 5.56 platforms.

556K: LBP in Compact Form

The K configuration trades some absolute sound reduction for reduced length — a worthwhile trade on SBRs and short-barrel carbines where the suppressor’s proportional length impact is greatest. LBP gas management is preserved in the K configuration, keeping the compact Velos just as clean-running as its full-size sibling.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.

Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.

  • Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
  • Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
  • Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
