SilencerCo Velos LBP 5.56 Suppressor — Black
The SilencerCo Velos LBP 5.56 brings SilencerCo’s Low Back Pressure technology to the AR-15 and 5.56 NATO platform. LBP baffle geometry reduces gas pushed back through the bolt carrier group on semi-automatic AR-15s — a common challenge with standard suppressors on direct-impingement and piston gas-operated 5.56 hosts. Covers 5.56 NATO, .223 Rem, and smaller calibers.

LBP on AR-15: Cleaner, More Reliable Suppressed Shooting
The direct-impingement AR-15 is particularly sensitive to suppressor back pressure — the gas pushed rearward dramatically increases cyclic rate and bolt carrier velocity. The Velos LBP 5.56 addresses this directly, making suppressed AR-15 operation cleaner and more reliable without requiring extensive buffer/gas tuning.
SilencerCo is one of America’s premier suppressor manufacturers, known for continuous innovation across pistol, rifle, and rimfire suppressor platforms. From the iconic Osprey to the Omega, Sparrow, and the Velos LBP series, SilencerCo products are trusted by civilians, law enforcement, and military alike.

Buying a suppressor now: a Form 4473 and a background check. No Form 4.
Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, tax stamp, fingerprints, photos or registration to buy a suppressor. It transfers like any other firearm: you fill out a Form 4473, pass a NICS background check, and it is yours. No months-long wait.
Texas buyers: suppressors are legal under Texas law. Western Sport has been an SOT / Class III dealer since 2007.
Outside Texas: we ship to an SOT dealer in your state, who completes the 4473 with you. Your state’s law still decides — some states ban suppressors, and some only allow ones registered with ATF.
Want it registered anyway? ATF still accepts a voluntary Form 4. Ask us.
