The Shadow Systems CR920X Elite Optic Ready is a sub-compact, striker-fired 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.41″ match-grade barrel. It has a polymer frame, a matte black slide and a 15+1 capacity. Two magazines are included.
The slide is cut for a red dot, and the cut is a multi-footprint design. That gives you more than one way to mount an optic. The sights are white dot on a black serrated slide, so you have a usable set of irons if you choose not to run an optic. The frame also has an extended beavertail and an equipment rail.
Built for a compact carry gun
The pistol weighs 19.1 oz and measures 6.5″ overall. Interchangeable backstraps let you adjust the grip to your hand. The trigger is aluminum and drop safe. A steel guide rod sits under the barrel, and the barrel has a 1:10″ twist.
This pistol fits a shooter who wants a small 9mm with real magazine capacity and a slide ready for an optic. It also suits anyone building a carry setup around a red dot.
For gear, start with a holster cut for an optic-equipped sub-compact pistol. Add a red dot sight, a weapon light for the equipment rail, spare 9mm magazines and a good supply of 9mm practice ammo. Confirm that any optic plate you pick matches the footprint of your sight.
