Product Description
This is a federally regulated suppressor (silencer) under the National Firearms Act. Purchase requires a BATFE Form 4 transfer, background check, and $200 NFA tax stamp — now $0 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). Buyer must be 21+, a US citizen, reside in an NFA-legal state, and have no disqualifying criminal history. Allow about two weeks or less for ATF approval. Western Sport handles all paperwork — call 817-393-4000.
The Sig HEXIUM 762 TI is Sig’s precision 7.62-caliber suppressor built for maximum sound reduction through hexagonal baffle geometry and titanium construction. Where the SLX line was designed under NGSW program pressures for military supersonic use, the HEXIUM series was designed for precision shooters who prioritize sound reduction above all else — particularly for .300 BLK subsonic and subsonic .308 applications. The titanium construction gives the HEXIUM 762 an excellent weight-to-performance ratio for a full-size 7.62 can. Combined with the hexagonal internal geometry, the HEXIUM 762 TI represents Sig’s most advanced 7.62 direct-thread suppressor technology.

Sig HEXIUM Suppressor Technology
The HEXIUM line is Sig’s precision suppressor family, named for the hexagonal internal baffle geometry that maximizes gas expansion volume per unit length. Rather than the traditional circular cross-section, HEXIUM baffles use a hexagonal outer form that packs more surface area and gas-capture volume into the same outer diameter as a conventional suppressor. The practical result: at a given length and diameter, HEXIUM suppressors achieve better sound reduction than equivalent round-section designs. Sig pairs HEXIUM geometry with either titanium (maximum weight savings) or Inconel (maximum heat and pressure resistance) depending on the caliber’s demands — 5.56 gets both options because it’s used in both high-rate-of-fire and precision contexts where the material tradeoff is genuinely a user choice.

FAQ — Sig HEXIUM 762 TI
HEXIUM 762 TI vs. SLH 762 — which should I choose?
Both are Sig’s subsonic-optimized 7.62 suppressors. HEXIUM uses hexagonal baffle geometry (more gas volume per unit length) and direct-thread mounting. SLH uses conventional baffle geometry with Clutch-LOK QD mounting. If you want the maximum sound reduction from Sig’s 7.62 lineup and plan to leave the suppressor on one host, HEXIUM DT is the choice. If you need to move the suppressor between hosts quickly, SLH QD is more practical.
Recent eForm 4 approvals have been coming back in about two weeks or less — see our NFA wait times guide for current figures.
