The Sightmark 6.5 Creed 22-250 boresight is a professional-grade laser alignment tool designed for rifle shooters. This compact device fits directly into the chamber of 6.5 Creedmoor and 22-250 caliber rifles. It projects a precise laser dot to align your scope without firing a single round. Additionally, this tool saves both time and ammunition during the critical scope setup phase.
Furthermore, the boresight features a durable black finish built to withstand field use. The device includes two AG5 batteries ready for immediate use. Moreover, the compact chamber-insert design makes installation quick and straightforward. Therefore, you’ll get started zeroing your optics within minutes of mounting your new scope.
Key Features & Performance
Class IIIA laser technology provides accurate scope alignment from the chamber position. The laser projects a bright, visible dot that tells you exactly where your scope is pointing. Additionally, the included batteries support extended shooting sessions without frequent replacement. Furthermore, the boresight works with any scope mounted on compatible 6.5 Creed or 22-250 rifles—no scope-specific limitations apply.
This boresight is ideal for hunters preparing new rifles for the season. Similarly, long-range shooters benefit from quick initial alignment before range testing. Therefore, competitive shooters rely on this tool to reduce setup time at matches. Additionally, anyone mounting a new scope should own one to avoid wasted ammunition during sight-in.
Why Shooters Choose This Boresight
Using the Sightmark boresight reduces the number of rounds you’ll fire during scope zeroing. Consequently, you’ll spend less on ammunition and less time at the range. Finally, you’ll achieve a proper sight-in much faster, allowing you to focus on actual shooting rather than basic alignment. This tool is especially valuable for recreational shooters who want accuracy without excessive range time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this boresight fit other calibers besides 6.5 Creed and 22-250?
A: No, this boresight is specifically designed for 6.5 Creedmoor and 22-250 rifles only. Sightmark manufactures separate models for other calibers. Always verify caliber compatibility before purchasing to ensure proper fit.
Q: How long do the included AG5 batteries last during use?
A: The two AG5 batteries provide extended runtime for multiple shooting sessions and range days. Battery life depends on how frequently you activate the laser and overall usage duration. Keep spare batteries on hand if you plan extended zeroing sessions.
Q: Will this boresight work with my scope, and do I need a special transfer at an FFL?
A: The Sightmark boresight works with any scope mounted on compatible 6.5 Creed or 22-250 rifles. As an optical tool rather than a firearm component, it requires no FFL transfer in Texas. Simply order it directly and use it immediately with your rifle.
Q: What’s the best use case for this boresight as a recreational shooter?
A: This tool is perfect when mounting a new scope on your hunting or target rifle. It lets you achieve rough alignment before heading to the range. Additionally, it saves ammunition and range time by eliminating the guesswork in initial scope positioning.
