LS5 grip options explained
Magpul MOE-K
A compact, low-profile grip with a steeper, more vertical angle than a standard AR grip. It suits PDW-style setups and short length of pull, and its thin profile with no beavertail works well for shooters who like a smaller grip.
Magpul MOE+
Magpul’s standard-size MOE grip with a rubber overmolded surface for more traction than the plain polymer MOE.
MKM Ultralight Compact Grip (ULCG)
Just over 30 grams without hardware, with a shallow 10.4 degree grip angle. It is built for comfort and control on shorter rifle and pistol setups and compact, CQB-style stances, and it stays stiff despite the low weight.
Driven Arms VCG-L
A beavertail grip with palm swells and anti-slip texture. It is about 1.45 in. wide, compared with about 1.2 in. for a Magpul K2+, and moves your hand roughly 0.2 in. rearward for trigger control and comfort. It weighs 2.2 oz with hardware.
Driven Arms SCG Atom
The Shadow Crossover Grip in Driven Arms’ Atom texture, with a 16 degree grip angle, a tapered profile and a flared lower ledge for hand placement and control in every position.
Driven Arms Apex
The Gen 2 Utility Compact Grip. It keeps the low-drag compact profile of the ULCG and adds a larger contact patch for the lower palm, plus an easier-to-use removable storage floorplate.
Pictogram options
- Standard Pictograms (No Cerakote): laser-engraved ambidextrous pictograms.
- Cerakote 416 Style: color-filled pictograms in the 416 style.
- Cerakote RAL8000 & 416: RAL8000 housing finish with 416-style color-filled pictograms. Cerakote adds 2 to 4 weeks of lead time.
