Sun Optics Raid 2 MOA Riflescope

Product Description

Sun Optics Raid 2 MOA is a 25mm red dot sight with a 2 MOA dot. The page name says riflescope, but the product is a red dot. You aim by putting the dot on the target instead of lining up a front and rear sight. The finish is black, and the manufacturer part number is RMD.

What a 2 MOA dot means

MOA is a unit of angle. A 2 MOA dot is a small aiming point, so it covers less of the target as the distance grows. That helps when you want to place a shot carefully. It still works for quick shooting at closer targets, because you only need to find the dot.

This optic suits shooters who want a plain red dot without a lot of extras. It fits someone moving up from iron sights, or someone who wants a simple optic for range days, practice and general use.

For gear, you will need a mount that fits your firearm. Check the mounting style of your rifle, shotgun or slide before you pick one. A backup set of iron sights is a sensible addition, and a sturdy sling or a good set of ear and eye protection rounds out a basic setup.
