The EOTECH Vudu 5-25×50 FFP is a riflescope with a 5-25 magnification range and a 50mm objective lens. It uses a first focal plane Tremor 5 reticle, and the model is listed as an MRAD scope. Adjustments are in .1 MIL steps, so the reticle and the turrets speak the same language.
What sets it apart
The elevation turret is a push/pull locking design. You pull it up to make a change and push it down to lock it in. That helps keep your dope from shifting when the rifle rides in a case or gets moved around.
The EZ Chek Zero Stop gives you a way to get back to your zero after dialing a long shot. Parallax is set with a side focus knob. The optics are multi-coated, and the scope has a single piece eyepiece in a black finish.
Who it suits
This scope fits shooters who work at distance and like to hold or dial in mils. A first focal plane reticle keeps its subtensions correct at every power setting. That matters when you range targets and make holds at 5 power or at 25 power.
The tube is 34mm, so plan on 34mm rings. A solid bipod, a rear bag, a rangefinder and a ballistic app or dope card round out a long-range setup. Pair it with a rifle that can shoot well enough to use the magnification.
