Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro Long Range 6.8 Western Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro Long Range is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built around a 26-inch sporter barrel with a Tungsten Cerakote finish. The barrel has a 1:7.5″ twist rate and a target crown. Overall length is 46″.

This rifle is set up for distance work. The barrel is threaded and wears a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake, with a thread protector included in the feature list for when the brake is off. The stock combines carbon fiber with accent graphics and has textured grip panels. The trigger is the Three Lever Feather design, and the safety sits on the tang.

Built for your own optic

There are no sights on this rifle. The receiver is drilled and tapped and has a Picatinny rail, so you choose the scope and mounting hardware. Ammunition feeds from a detachable rotary magazine that holds 3+1 rounds.

It suits hunters who carry a rifle into the mountains and shooters who want a 6.8 Western for longer shots. Good companions include a quality scope, rings that match your rail, a bipod or shooting rest, a rifle sling, and a padded case. Suppressor users should check that any muzzle device they plan to use fits the barrel’s threads before ordering.
