The Volquartsen Firearms Black Mamba is a .22 LR pistol with a 6″ stainless steel barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. It is a single-action design with a manual safety, and the slide wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish. It weighs 26 oz and measures 12.5″ overall.
This pistol is built with target work in mind. It has a competition bolt and an accurizing kit, and the sights are fiber optic and adjustable for target use. The top of the pistol carries an integral Picatinny optic mount at 0 MOA, so a red dot or other optic can go on without an adapter. The barrel is threaded at 1/2×28, which fits muzzle devices cut to that pitch.
Who it suits
The Black Mamba fits shooters who want a precise rimfire pistol for bullseye-style practice, steel plates, informal competition or relaxed range days. The single-stack magazine holds 10 rounds, and two magazines are included, so you can load up and shoot a longer string before you stop to refill.
For gear, start with a pistol-mount red dot if you prefer an optic over the fiber optic sights. Add a padded range bag, a pistol rest or bench support, hearing and eye protection, and a few extra .22 LR magazines for faster sessions. A cleaning kit with a bore brush sized for .22 caliber keeps the stainless barrel in good shape between outings.
