The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 PRC with a 22″ fluted, free-floating barrel. The barrel has a 1:8″ twist and a target crown. It also has a muzzle brake and a threaded barrel. The finish is Smoked Bronze Cerakote, and overall length is 42.75″.
Fit is the main story here. The Vari-Tech stock comes with 2 grip modules, and the rifle has adjustable length of pull, comb height and grip angle. That lets you set it up for your frame and your shooting position. The DLX multi-lever trigger is adjustable, and the bolt runs smoothly. The safety is a tang safety. Rounds feed from a detachable box magazine that holds 3+1 rounds.
Who it suits
This rifle has no sights, and it is drilled and tapped. That makes it a good base for hunters and long-range shooters who plan to mount a scope of their own choosing. The .300 PRC chambering and 1:8″ twist point toward long shots at big game and distance work on paper or steel.
To finish the setup, plan on a scope, rings and bases that fit the drilled and tapped receiver, a bipod, and a sling. A hard case helps with travel. Pick up .300 PRC ammunition too, and spend time at the range learning how the rifle handles with the muzzle brake.
