Product Description

The Mossberg Gold Reserve Over/Under is a 20 gauge break-action shotgun with 30″ vent rib barrels. It holds two rounds, one per barrel, and chambers 3″ shells.

The finish is polished silver, and the stock is Grade A satin black walnut. Length of pull is 14″ and overall length is 47″. Sights are a bead at each position, so you point it the way you would any over/under. It uses extractors, which pull the fired shells partway out of the chamber for you to remove by hand.

Choke tubes

The gun uses an extended, checkered tube set. The chokes are SK, IC, Mod, IM and F, which covers skeet, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified and full. You can open it up for close targets or tighten it for longer shots by swapping a tube. Checkered extended tubes are easy to grip when you change them.

A 30″ barrel gives a long sight plane and a smooth swing. That suits clay games and upland or field use, depending on the tube and load you choose.

For gear, think about a hard case or a padded soft case, a shell pouch or bag, and hearing and eye protection. A set of spare chokes and a cleaning kit sized for 20 gauge are also worth having. If you shoot clays, add a trap or skeet vest.
