Taurus USA Raging Hunter .357 Mag Revolver, 5.125″ Barrel, 7-Round

Product Description

The Taurus USA Raging Hunter is a .357 Mag double-action revolver with a 5.125″ ported barrel. It holds 7 rounds and uses an external hammer. Overall length is 10.85″, and the gun weighs 55 oz.

What sets it apart

Two features stand out. The first is the Picatinny rail, which gives you a place to mount an optic. The second is the ported barrel. The sights are fixed/adjustable, and the finish is matte black. The grips are rubber with a cushioned insert, which matters on a revolver of this size.

This revolver suits shooters who want a longer barrel and a 7-round cylinder in .357 Mag. It makes sense for hunters who plan to run an optic, and for range shooters who like the sight radius and handling of a 5.125″ barrel. At 55 oz, it is a steady gun to shoot, but it is not a light carry piece.

For gear, start with .357 Mag ammunition and speedloaders or speed strips sized for a 7-round cylinder. A red dot or scope will mount to the Picatinny rail. You will also want a holster or case that fits a revolver with a 5.125″ barrel, plus eye and ear protection for the range.
