The Thompson/center Encore Pro Hunter Predator is a break-action rifle chambered in 6mm ARC with an 18″ barrel. It is a single-shot rifle, so each round is loaded by hand after the action is opened. That keeps the design simple and the rifle compact in the field.
The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, and the rifle is listed as suppressor ready. A threaded barrel also lets you run a muzzle device if you prefer one. The finish is green Cerakote, and the stock is Kings Camo XK7, so the rifle suits timber, brush and field edges.
Built for an optic
This rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you can mount a scope base and the optic that fits your hunting. The trigger is adjustable for overtravel. Firing is by an external hammer, and a hammer block serves as the safety.
The Encore Pro Hunter Predator suits hunters who want a short single-shot for predators and similar game. It also suits shooters who like the break-action format. For gear, think about a scope and mounts, a sling for the walk in, shooting sticks or a bipod for a steady rest, and a suppressor with 5/8×24 threads if you plan to run one. Match any accessory to your own needs, because none of these items are part of this rifle.
